Coming from a family well-steeped in what it takes to successfully serve the customer, it comes as no surprise to those who know Alpharetta’s Vimal Patel that he’d be following in his parent’s footsteps with his latest venture.
Raised in Tennessee by a working-class family and groomed in the business world of Metro Atlanta, Patel is growing his family’s legacy with the launch of Brightway, The Patel Agency insurance office next week.
From Conyers to Walnut Grove to Dunwoody, Patel has already designed his own blueprint of what it takes to be a successful business pro in the Peach State. However, Monday morning, the 39-year-old entrepreneur will expand his professional footprint when he opens the doors on his new McFarland Station Drive location.
“My family has worked in the hospitality industry most of my life. Being able to take what I’ve learned first-hand since I was a kid, and turning it into a way of life, is like a dream come true,” Patel said.
The 39-year-old agency owner owned multiple restaurant franchises in the metro area for the better part of the last decade. The Forsyth County father of one has also made a claim to fame as one of the more successful finance managers in the automotive industry throughout his career.
After two decades of working long hours every day to build a career, Patel made the decision to invest in a business that combined his experience and his passion.
“Looking after what’s important to my family is a top priority,” Patel added. “It’s that passion going to work for the customers that will lead to a great future in the insurance industry.”
The 2007 Middle Tennessee State University alum moved to Georgia back in 2010. Patel and his wife, Reena, currently raise their one-year-old daughter in Alpharetta.
