ST. JOHNS, FLA. — As the holidays approach, so does a special spirit of giving to others in need. That’s why mother and daughter, Donna and Jaime Bavier, who together own and operate Brightway, St. Johns, are collecting gifts and monetary donations to benefit young people who are transitioning from foster care into a life of independence.
“This is the 10th year in a row that we’ve done the gift drive, and the community’s support in years past has been phenomenal,” said Donna Bavier. “We look forward to this event every year and have benefitted hundreds of local kids.”
“Our goal is to give every young person on the list a very special Christmas and make it as magical for them as possible,” added Jaime Bavier.
The Baviers have collaborated with Family Support Services of North Florida and Kids First of Florida to secure wish lists from young people in need. There are two ways you can donate.
