JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — “Do your due diligence and ascertain whether it’s a good fit.”

That’s the advice Brightway Insurance Franchise Owner, Richard Ingram, offers to military veterans who are considering franchise ownership. A U.S. Army combat veteran who served four tours in Iraq and Afghanistan, Ingram opened Brightway, The Ingram Agency in Baton Rouge, La., in July.

A number of veterans are enjoying business ownership and success through Brightway Insurance, earning the company a place on Franchise Business Review’s list of the Top Franchises for Veterans in 2018 for the second year in a row. In addition to looking at each brand’s overall Franchisee Satisfaction Score from its independent research, Franchise Business Review looks at satisfaction among franchisees who stated they were military veterans. Out of hundreds of brands considered, only 80 made the list.

Additionally, Brightway is one of 100 companies to land a spot on Franchise Business Review’s list of Top Innovative Franchises in 2018 based on franchisee satisfaction of the brand’s innovation and creativity.

“We’re very proud of the franchise model we’ve developed and are thrilled our franchisees rate their satisfaction with Brightway as high,” said Brightway Co-Founder and Chairman, Michael Miller. “Being named a top franchise for veterans and innovators based on the feedback our franchisees provided is quite an honor that inspires us to continue to build an even stronger support system for them.”

To show appreciation to those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces, Brightway offers a 10-percent discount off the franchise fee ($4,500 - $6,000) to veterans. BrightwayDifference.com offers details about becoming a Brightway Franchise Owner.

“Owning a franchise with Brightway is owning your own business. It’s truly a partnership. There is no man in the tower bellowing orders, expecting his way or the highway,” said Ingram. “Brightway listens to the franchisees and facilitates change when necessary, derived from owner input. I look at Home Office as MY support staff. I leverage them to be successful, which in turn, makes everyone successful.
“Brightway Agency Owners have access to more carriers at their onset than Agents who have been in the industry for decades. This really is revolutionary to the industry. If I wanted to run Ingram Insurance, I might start with one or two carriers as part of a cluster with other agencies just to make quota. And oh by the way, I need a support staff. That is a lot of capital and an even larger risk. When I learned of Brightway’s system from Brightway Agency Owner, Ben Rodriguez, I knew I could leverage it to be very successful,” Ingram continued.
“Brightway has proven to be the right franchise at the right time for my family.  We could not be happier,” said U.S. Air Force veteran, Eric Seuffert, who opened Brightway, The Seuffert Agency in Cape Coral, Fla., in December 2017.

Brightway also garnered local recognition last week, when the Jacksonville Business Journal named the company the Top Independent Insurance Agency in Northeast Florida, making 2018 the 11th consecutive year the company made the list. The Business Journal ranks agencies by the number of employees in the area.
