JACKSONVILLE, FLA. — Congratulations to Employee of the Month for January 2021, Blake Burdett!
Burdett is an Accounting Manager at Brightway. In this role, he supports Home Office employees and Agency Owners and oversees Accounting functions at Brightway.
During a virtual ceremony to recognize Burdett, Brightway’s Vice President of Accounting Operations, Jess Spendley, said, “Blake and his team are contributors to many key projects for Brightway. Blake has recently received kudos from many of the Executive team members for his great work on our Annual Budget and getting the Short-term Incentive and Merit files compiled and distributed, which is not an easy task with so many moving parts.”
Spendley continued, “He embodies all of our core values and has proven over and over that he is smart, accountable and trustworthy. Blake is great to work with and always does what it takes to get the job done. Brightway is very lucky to have him!”
Brightway launched the Employee of the Month program in 2020 to give frequent recognition to employees who do fantastic work. The program recognizes two employees every month.
Honorees for the distinction receive a gift and a “thank you” message from Brightway’s Executive Leadership.
