FORT MILL, S.C. — Brightway Insurance Enterprise Owner, Chris Schmidt, has opened Brightway, The Schmidt Family Agency in Fort Mill. The agency is Schmidt’s third Brightway location and his first location in the Palmetto State.
“We’ve enjoyed getting to know our customers in Louisiana and Florida and helping them find the best coverage for their needs, and we look forward to bringing that same level of commitment and expertise to the Fort Mill community and surrounding areas in South Carolina and North Carolina,” said Schmidt, who opened his first Brightway agency in Harahan, Louisiana in 2016. “Our goal is to tap into the many insurance brands we partner with to help you find the best coverage for your home, cars and more so that you have peace of mind about your financial well-being and future.”
Serving as Agency Principal who runs the day-to-day operation of the agency is Carmen Mosher, who comes to Brightway with more than 20 years’ industry experience. Born and raised in South Carolina, Mosher has lived in Fort Mill for eight years and most recently worked for MetLife as a Sales Agent for five years. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Home Economics and Nutrition from Lander University in Greenwood and commissioned as a U.S. Army Officer from Palmetto Military Academy in Eastover. Mosher loves spending time with husband of three years, Bruce Mosher, and her three children. She enjoys going to church at Lakewood Baptist Church in Rock Hill, where she’s a member as well as cooking, boating and running.
