A Lone Star State U.S. Army vet who spent seven years here and abroad fighting to protect the American Dream is launching one of his own next week in Williamson County. Commercial real estate specialist VeinTwain Herron will unveil Greater Austin’s newest franchise when he opens the doors to the Brightway, The Herron Family insurance agency Tuesday.
The Liberty Hill, Texas resident who has spent his post-military years as a mortgage broker and realtor is opening his new venture as part of a plan to expand his enterprise.
“Opening and operating your own business is tough. But now with being established in realty and managing properties, expanding to add the insurance component just makes sense for our customers,” Herron said of the new Denali Pass venture.
The former paratrooper and signal support system specialist is glad to find a way to be even more hands-on when it comes to serving the community.
The former Killeen, Texas firefighter holds certifications in paramedicine and carpentry trades. “Making something special for someone is something that gives me a lot of pride,” Herron added. “Helping educate those needing to protect all the things that are important to them is important to me.”
Herron currently resides in Liberty Hill with his four children.
