Funes is operating the business from her home in Greenacres but will open an office location in the coming months. That location will be announced once the office is operational.
“I have always loved helping others and found a real passion for serving my community by assisting families in protecting their needs and futures through insurance,” said Funes. “I am ecstatic to partner with Brightway Insurance to open a business where I get to do just that.”

A 2013 graduate of Santaluces Community High School in nearby Lantana, Funes went to work for State Farm right after graduation. She brings seven years of insurance and sales experience to Brightway and speaks fluent English and Spanish. Funes recently married husband, Yamil.
“Due to pandemic, we eloped and traded the big wedding for a business opportunity with Brightway!” she exclaimed.
As a Brightway Agency Owner, Funes looks forward to being able to educate those in her community on the importance of insurance.
