(St. Petersburg, Fla.) – A tradition now four years in the making has two St. Pete businesses joining forces once again to make things a little brighter as the holiday season quickly approaches.
Dr. Joe Craig and his son, Chris, first opened the doors on Brightway, The Craig Agency in 2019. And each November, the family-owned and operated insurance franchise puts its money where “their mouths” are with an annual contribution to the St. Petersburg Free Clinic.
Joe, who is now a retired dentist, has been volunteering his services for more than 20 years to the clinic which is located just a few blocks down Fourth Street from their agency.
On Thursday, Brightway, The Craig Agency presented the St. Pete Free Clinic team with a check for $2,250. “Our hearts are with the clinic all year long. It only makes sense to give in other ways at this time of year,” Dr. Craig said. The dental center and medical clinic at the facility are staffed with volunteers throughout the year, five days a week, providing thousands of patients with basic health care.
