JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Joe Carlucci and his wife, Victoria, had big ideas to bring the holiday spirit to Jacksonville, so they decided to launch a four-part movie series to create an event everyone can enjoy and make a holiday tradition. In December, Brightway, The Carlucci Agency will host The Christmas Classics, Movie Night in the Park at what’s commonly known as “The Publix Lot” in San Marco, located at 1532 Atlantic Blvd. Movie Nights will be held every Friday in December leading up to Christmas from 6 to 8:30 p.m. The event is free to the public, and attendees can look forward to food trucks and complimentary hot chocolate and popcorn.
“My wife and I were driving around last year at Christmas time and wishing there was an outdoor movie night we could go to with friends. Then we drove past an open park, and our ideas about how we could make this a reality for the entire community started rolling,” said Carlucci, who co-owns Brightway, The Carlucci Agency with his brother, Matthew Carlucci Jr. “Our goal is to turn The Christmas Classics into an annual event that people look forward to every year at Christmas time, something they will always remember doing together as a family. I would have loved this event as a kid and even as a young married couple to do for a fun date night!”
The Christmas Classics, Movie Night in the Park will feature four fun movies on the following dates:
- Dec. 1 – Home Alone
- Dec. 8 – The Santa Claus
- Dec. 15 – The Grinch
- Dec. 22 – Elf
